Custom Jacket
When ordering a custom-made jacket, you have options. You can supply your own quilt or blanket, or I can offer you quilt and blanket options already in the studio.
The quilt can be made into several different types of jacket styles shown in the photo section and listed below. If you have a custom design in mind, we can work out the details together. Your jacket is completely customizable, from size, length, sleeve design, and how many pockets you want.

A) Chore Jacket
B) Robe Coat
C) Kimono
D) Box Coat
By purchasing this service you are placing a deposit for a custom-made quilt jacket. The remaining balance for your jacket will be due when the jacket is finished. Please note that half of your deposit will be refunded if you choose to not proceed. Prices vary but the final cost will range between $250 - $350 including the deposit. There will be regular communication about the process, and you will be notified of the final cost before proceeding.
If you choose to supply your own quilt, the quilt size requirements are approximately 60” - 80”. If you have multiple smaller items you want to be pieced together that can be done. However, there will be an additional cost associated with that process.
To get started, you will contact us through email at je.tailors@gmail.com. Please include photos and the dimensions of your quilt or items. You will receive an email back with pricing for your jacket.
You can then purchase the deposit here on the website.
If you are providing your own materials, you are responsible for shipping them to us. Once we receive the quilt and materials, we will get started on your new jacket.

Please allow between 2 - 5 weeks of lead time after purchasing the deposit. There will be regular communication so if your item is ready before or will take longer than expected, you will be notified.
These products are made from vintage and antique fabrics. These items have lived a life before they came into yours. With that in mind, wear, staining, and fraying are to be expected.
